Day 6. Date: 13.06.2017 Theme: “English Meal”.
Today we started our lesson form a psychological attitude. The aim of the training is to rally a group of children with the help of hands after watching the video, we repeated the last topic of the lesson and our trip (new words) to the cafeteria.
Children had to cook at home cooking dishes and told from the recipe. The recipes were very interesting and tasty. Our lesson was continued with games on the side where the children repeated the grammar of the uncountable and countable nouns.
Further the children together with the teachers prepared salads and began the Festive day of Food. Children liked everything they had, helped each other to prepare salads. When we had finished the picnic, the children assessed the lesson on the stickers, they wrote, what they liked the lesson. Children were happy and they wished to come to the language camp every day.
Day 7. Date: 14.06.2017 Theme: “Weather”.
Our lessons always began with trainings. Today we had a lesson about the weather home task was to control a three day weather forecasts and tell the class.
Our lesson consisted of working in a group and pairs. There were various arraignments of the tasks of weather were the children worked and performed with pleasure.
After each work the children went to their places and told how they did the work. Pupils danced, repeated movements after the teacher. It was a warm – up activity. From the house they brought different coins, magnetic, pictures, puppets, needlework.
On the reflection, the children talked about how they liked working in the group, drawing, to carry out tasks, to bring – up and display their works. And, the lesson ended that they showed their mood with good emotions (smiles).
Day 8, 9. Date: 15, 16.06.2017 Theme: “Games”.
The lesson started very much active moving game. We moved around and changed the seat passion when the teacher commended. Children answered the questions about types of games and shared knowledge.
In the group made interesting tasks, asked questions and gave evaluation for each job. After the tasks we went down to the gym to play games. They played different outdoor games. For example: “What is the time Mr. Wolf?”, “Tag - tag”, “Hide and Seek”, “Leap Frog”, “Rain” and basketball.
At the end of lesson, the children told their impressions of today’s lesson and said “Good bye” to each other!
Day 10. Date: 19.06.2017 Theme: English films: “Shrek”.
The children came and we began our lesson from dancing, because we needed to wake – up.
Today was an unusual lesson. We looked at the interesting cartoon “Shrek”. After looking that cartoon we had drawn up a work plan for today’s lesson and did the tasks. Children had drawn the posters, the teacher gave them a short information about heroes of that cartoon, then they cut pictures, informations, translate the sentences to the Kazakh, Russian languages, glued the pictures to the posters. Then they started to protect their projects.
Shrek is a 2001 American computer-animated fantasy film directed by Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson in their directorial debut. It features the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow. The film focuses on an ogre named Shrek (voiced by Myers) who finds his swamp overrun by fairy tale creatures who have been banished there by order of the evil Lord Farquaad (voiced by Lithgow). In order to get his swamp back, Shrek makes a deal with Lord Farquaad to bring him a queen in exchange for the deed for his swamp. Shrek sets out with a talking Donkey (voiced by Murphy) and they find Princess Fiona (voiced by Diaz). While they take Fiona to Farquaad so she can marry him, Shrek starts to fall in love with the princess and soon discovers a shocking secret about her.
