Day 1. Date: 06.06.2017 Theme: “My family”.
Today we conducted an interesting lesson. At the beginning of the lesson, children made a circle, for making a good atmosphere (training). During the lesson we held a warm - up, practiced oral speech and pupils worked in pairs, in groups. Group was protected by posters, cards, then they started to work with their projects. Children were so very active, attractive and responsible. During the feedback, boys and girls said their opinions about today’s lesson.
Nikolayeva Maria presented her project work. She made a collage, according to her Family, and made a “Family Tree”. The home task was wrote an essay about their “Family Members”.
Day 2. Date: 07.06.2017 Theme: “My pets”.
Today our lesson was unusual. At the beginning of the lesson, we divided into 3 groups, and learned phonetically sounds. There was a physical minute (warm – up activity). When we practiced oral speech and pupils started talking funny stories, joking, laughing, clapping hands, making good feelings, about their pets. First of all, pupils draw flippcharts, and coloured them, cut it, glued own pictures. Pupils worked in pairs, in groups. Group was protected by flippcharts, then they started to assess
each other. Children were so very active, attractive and responsible.
Kazhemukhanova Alina presented her project work. She made a Family Tree, which was their home task, but that project was
amazing for teachers, because, on the top of tree sat a cat, not her family.
Day 3. Date: 08.06.17 Theme: «My hobby»
We met children, then we revise home task. We divided them into 4 groups. After that, they saw a video about 3 unusual hobbies. After video, the pupils started to work with cards, then the children made a diagram about unusual hobbies, and add own hobbies. There were tasks with slides and they should do it orally. For example: make a crossword, make hobbies words, the teacher asked the questions and the pupils answered for them.
So our today’s lesson was very nice! Children gave feedback, said what do they like? What do they not like on the lesson?
Day: 4. Date: 09.06.17 Theme: «My school garden»
Today we had met our children on the first floor. There were a lot of children. The lesson was an excursion and we started our lesson, from revising our home task. Children were active. We made a big circle. Our children started to describe own school garden. They used simple sentences, short answers, expressions, questions, word buildings. We saw sights of school. Then we saw a yurt, they started to describe it.
After yurt we went to the shop and the children asked to sellers in English: “How much is it / how much is a doll, a baby’s bed, baby’s clothes?” By children’s mind, the sellers were not ready for EXPO-2017, because the sellers couldn’t answer to children’s questions.
At the end of excursion, pupils gave a reflexion and they went to their home.
Day 5. Date: 12.06.2017 Theme: “English Meals”.
Today our lesson was so unusual. At the beginning of the lesson, we introduced the pupils with the Notebook of Safety, going out to the Culinary House “Biscuit” and learned Study the rules of the road. Pupils started signed. There was a physical minute (warm – up activity). We practiced oral speech and pupils started talking about Kazakh, Russian, English meals. Then we went to the Culinary House “Biscuit”. When we arrived to that pizzeria, the children were very happy! They started to see a menu and ordered donut with glazer, a pizza, a juice, a tea, a lots of salads, a coffee, cakes, lollypops, a pie, burgers, a hot dog, a sandwich, a doner and so one. We sat here is about 45 minutes and took photos, talked about today’s lesson, teachers gave to pupils a sheet of papers for filling own menu. The children filled the menu, and read it together.
After eating, we returned to the school. And pupils sat on their desks, sais their opinions and gave a feedback, then they assessed today’s lesson with stickers.
